Vocational Training

After a child finishes his basic education and is more inclined to acquire vocational skills than go on to a mainstream secondary school, Vocational Training institutes are where he could learn the skills of livelihood before he steps out to look for a job.

    *Even though the service is provided by the Singapore Association for the Deaf, they do accept people with an intellectual disability

The Infocomm Accessibility Centre (IA Centre) provides subsidised IT training to people with disability. The Centre is supported by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and is managed by the Society for the Physically Disabled (SPD).

The Down Syndrome Association has an Adult Enhancement Program targeted at persons with intellectual disabilities who have graduated from (special) schools at 18 years old.
